Nose: cherry, chocolate malt, vanilla, beautiful rich oak, peanut brittle, leather, tobacco, bubblegum, caramel

Palate: cherry, vanilla wafer, milky chocolate, mint, heavy oily wonderful oak char

Rating: 5/5

Recommend: Yes : I am surprised by the complexity of this whisky at only 100 proof. The mouth feel on nose and palate definitely attest to the 13 year age statement. The flavours don't necessarily fade or fall away to a finish, but smoothly transitions into a long lingering list of earlier flavours introducing a few new ones as you continue to sip and think about the liquid. I believe this may actually do a lot of crushing in blind taste tests which are forthcoming in BiB 2021 releases. Fans of Old Forester 1920, Old Forester 1910, Chattanooga Whiskey 111, Elijah Craig SiB profiles will definitely want to grab this bottle fast. The price of sub $45 is incredible for this 13 year, complex offering.
